The Optometric Extension Program Foundation (OEPF) strives to provide high-quality educational opportunities for optometrists and vision therapists. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, and we offer this cancellation policy to accommodate such situations.
Full Refund:
- You may receive a full refund for any course cancellation up to five (5) days after purchase, provided you have not accessed any course materials beyond the preview content and provided you are not within the thirty (30) days of the course start date.
Partial Refund:
- You may receive a partial refund of 50% of the course fee or a 50 % course credit if you cancel between six (6) and thirty (30) days before the course start date, as long as you have completed less than 25% of the course content.
No Refund:
- There will be no refund for cancellations made within thirty (30) days of the course start date or after completing 25% or more of the course content.
Exceptional Circumstances:
In certain exceptional circumstances, OEPF may consider a full or partial refund for cancellations made within the thirty (30) day window or after completing more than 25% of the course . Such circumstances may include, but are not limited to:
- – Medical emergencies (documented)
- – Death in the immediate family
- – Military deployment
Requests for refunds in exceptional circumstances must be submitted in writing to Deloria.Walters@oepf.org and include supporting documentation. OEPF will review each request on a case-by-case basis.
Additional Information:
- – This cancellation policy applies to all OEPF courses, including online and in-person offerings.
- – Refunds for credit card payments will be processed within five (5) business days. Refunds for other payment methods may take longer.
- – OEPF reserves the right to modify this cancellation policy at any time without prior notice. We encourage you to review this policy regularly for any updates.
