Christopher Borgman, OD, FAAO

Dr. Chris Borgman is an assistant professor at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. He earned his O.D. degree from the Illinois College of Optometry then completed a one-year residency in Primary Care and Ocular Disease at the Illinois Eye Institute in Chicago, Illinois. He is a course instructor for the Systemic Pathology and Integrative Analysis courses at SCO. He has authored many articles published on various topics of ocular disease conditions and ocular pharmacology, and has lectured in numerous continuing education venues on the topics of: billing/coding, primary care ocular diseases, ocular manifestations of systemic diseases, and neuro-optometric diseases.

Melissa Ann Zarn Urankar, OD, FAAO

Melissa Zarn Urankar, OD, FAAO is an Advisory Member to the Board of the Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation Association (NORA), an inter-disciplinary group of professionals dedicated to providing patients who have physical or cognitive disabilities as a result of an acquired brain injury with a complete ocular health evaluation and optimum visual rehabilitation education and services to improve their quality of life.

Dr. Zarn is an Assistant Professor of Optometry at Southern College of Optometry (SCO). She attained a BS in Engineering Science and Mechanics from Virginia Tech and an OD from Illinois College of Optometry. After completing residency training in Vision Therapy, Rehabilitation, and Pediatrics at Pacific University College of Optometry, she worked at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center where she helped to establish Optometry and Vision Therapy services in the multidisciplinary traumatic brain injury clinic.
