The 2021 MAOC will be in Pittsburgh, PA and as always, held under the auspices of the Optometric Extension Program Foundation.
Congress will start at 1 PM EST on 22nd October and will end at 3:45 PM EST on 23rd October.
This year’s meeting will be at:
Springhill Suites
2950 South Water Street
Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania 15203
ph: 412-488-8003
We currently have a small block of rooms reserved at $129/night + tax
We have two very experienced and creative featured speakers – presenting from different continents – for our 81st meeting:
Dr. Owen Leigh will be joining us virtually from Petersfield Hants in the UK. Dr. Leigh will be presenting Learning Related Vision Difficulties – Processes to Emphasise When Working With Students of All Ages and Abilities
Dr. Marsha Benshir from New Market, Maryland will be with us in person. Dr. Benshir’s topic will be Vision Therapy or Vision Rehabilitation?
Also presenting in-person will be Dr. Gregory Kitchener on The Ecology of Visual Training, and Dr. Steve Gallop offering his Thoughts on a Behavioral Model of Vision.
Choosing to err on the side of caution, space for in-person attendance will still be somewhat limited as we will be observing physical distancing and masking protocols. In-person registration will be first come, first served, and full vaccination is required for all in-person attendees.
We are offering both single day and whole congress options. All meals are on-your-own.
