Charles Bonnet Syndrome and Hallucinations with Dr. Leonid Skorin and Mrs. Eva Fox
$40.00
Description
Charles Bonnet Syndrome (CBS) was first identified in 1760. Yet, today much of the literature still states that it is underdiagnosed, misdiagnosed, underreported and unrecognized. Recently, CBS has finally received its own International Classification of Diseases 11 code. There still is no definitive definition for CBS and even the ICD-11 code definition has its detractors. I will discuss CBS including its clinical findings and the pillars of treatment. I will introduce my upcoming research and textbook, Charles Bonnet Syndrome and Other Hallucinations: Clinical Diagnosis and Management soon to be published.
Disclosure: I am the medical director and board member of the CBS non-profit support group, Mary Carmel’s Light. Dr. Skorin will be joined by Mrs. Eva Potts, President of Mary Carmel’s Light ( Mary Carmel’s Light ) dedicated to supporting individuals with Charles Bonnet Syndrome. It is the first such non-profit in the United States.
