Introduction to binocular and accommodative dysfunction for Students
This lecture series will introduce diagnosis of binocular and accommodative dysfunction. We will perform an in depth overview of what vision is and how it is processed and discuss the basics of visual function including specifics of oculomotor, binocular, accommodative, and visual perception and processing. We will discuss the function and role of different lenses, prisms, and filters used in behavioral optometry and their effect on visual function. We will then perform an in depth discussion on various testing techniques for evaluation of binocular and accommodative function and dysfunction.
