Objectives: 1. Identify the value to both the patient and VT provider of meaningful conversation and questions during VT procedures to promote self awareness and reflection. 2. Develop methods of creating novel experiences for our patients using simple tools and various means of loading.

Instructor Bio

Dr. Curtis’ adventure started at Southern College of Optometry, graduating in 2015 after gaining a great appreciation for pediatrics, vision therapy and rehabilitation. With COVID lockdowns in full force he refunded his airplane ticket to COVD annual meeting in Toronto and had a virtual fellowship interview instead, completing the process in 2020. He is now partnered with Dr Robin Price at Child and Family EyeCare and Achieve Vision Therapy Centers in Pleasant Grove and Saratoga Springs, Utah. When Dr. Curtis isn’t saving the world two eyes at a time he is usually found touring on his motorcycle, wrestling his 5 kids and shaggy sheepdog or taking his wife Amy on a date.
