Announcing the Winner of the Skeffington Legacy Award 2023!
In the realm of eye-catching achievements, we’re thrilled to inform you that our esteemed Chair, Eric Hussey, has officially clinched the Skeffington Legacy Award 2023. It’s not every day that we get to congratulate one of our own with such esteemed honors, but today is that day!
We crunched the numbers, sifted through the anecdotes, and found that Eric’s leadership, insights, and the sheer amount of time he’s dedicated to our OEPF mission make him a true luminary in the optometric world. No cape is required, but we imagine it might look good on him.
Eric’s ability to guide us through the maze of behavioral optometry and its community has been nothing short of impressive. His wisdom is like a fine wine – it gets better with time, and boy, has he given us some vintage moments.
So, here’s to Eric, the quiet force behind the scenes. Consider this award not just a trophy but a nod to his steady hand and the occasional quirk that keeps us all on our toes.
Congratulations, Eric, on this well-deserved recognition! We’re raising virtual glasses in your honor and looking forward to the next chapter under your thoughtful leadership.
Cheers to you, Eric! The OEPF Board
