  • About the Doctor:Dr. Jacinta Yeung-Olson was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She graduated from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, with a Bachelor of Visual Sciences, Master of Education in Visual Function in Learning and Doctor of Optometry. Dr. Yeung-Olson has completed various externships in primary care, contact lenses and developmental optometry. She has practiced in Edmonton, Alberta as well as Lakewood, Westminster, Boulder and Niwot. She is excited to be back in Boulder as part of the Colorado Eye Center team. Dr. Yeung-Olson is passionate about functional optometry and focuses on optimizing her patients’ visual performance through a behavioral approach in prescribing glasses and contacts, in addition to vision training, therapy and rehabilitation. Dr. Yeung-Olson has been awarded the Tole Greenstein Award for exceptional performance in areas of Binocular Vision, Vision Therapy and Pediatric Vision. She also received the BSK Chapter Award for Exceptional Research. Dr. Yeung-Olson is a member of the Colorado Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
